Games I beat in 2015 - #27: Final Fantasy Tactics
Back in 2014, I promised I would replay my ""beloved"" Final Fantasy Tactics if the Four Job Fiesta hit a certain donation amount. Personal issues prevented me from doing this in the 2014 calendar year, but damn if I don't finish what I set out to do.
Although part of my vocalization of my dislike of this game is for show, (People sure enjoy defending this game.) my opinion did not change after this play. Unlocking the jobs is still slow and a hassle. Heck, the whole game feels like a slog. For as much as Final Fantasy 2 gets teased for beating up on your party members, Tactics rewards such actions with even ""better"" results.
The game is slow, the characters uninteresting and the job system a hassle. At least the JP glitch lets me speed through the beginning until Orlandu shows up and crunches everything.
I do honestly wonder if I will ever play this game again. What a weird thought to have. I don't like it, but the idea that I won't also feels oddly sad.
