I've been powering through the A Song of Ice and Fire books over the past few days. I say books because I finished A Storm of Swords and started A Feast for Crows. As I'm now in the last book of the four-book-Kindle-bundle, I actually have an idea of how much remains. A Dance with Dragons is sitting on my Kindle as well, so I'm good to go. A Storm of Swords had some bumpy, and by bumpy I mean boring, spots that had me ignore the book for quite some time. Then it got rolling and then it slowed down again. The last few chapters were completely ridiculous and had me jump instantly into the next book and plow through a few chapters in a ridiculously short amount of time. Of course, those first few chapters contain practically nothing that I want to know, but still has some interesting stuff going on.
