I'm nearing the end of Breath of Fire 2 and decided to take a peak at a FAQ just to make sure I wasn't missing anything big. RPG guides often offer a suggested level and in this case it was ten above what I was at. Calculating the experience gain based on the best location in the game, it would have taken a hell of a lot of time to get those ten levels. I decided to go on without it and have had no problems so far. I love many games and yet I often sense a level of dedication from others that I myself do not have for any individual games. Perhaps it is the eternal depth versus breadth situation, and while I have a bit of envy for those willing to go the depths, the breadth is just so much more attractive to me.
Bread is really tasty, after all.
