Whiskey and working

It was a Very Merry Game of Thrones[footnote]or should I say “A Song of Ice and Fire”? My nerd tendencies urge me to be accurate, but that is the "common" name for the series.[/footnote] Weekend as I plowed through fifteen chapters of A Storm of Swords and watched six episodes of Season Two. All while translating and doing my fatherly duties. Being an adult is hard. I've also been enjoying a nice whiskey that we received as a gift this past holiday season. I enjoyed it so much that I didn't even put up my Saturday rainblocks retrospective post. Whoops. There was the hot carpet, and the book, and the belly full of whiskey. Rarely do I find myself waking up on the floor feeling refreshed, but there you have it. It is a nice whiskey.

It wasn't all duty and drinks as I finished the final rooms of the game I am working on and will be sending out a beta to some friends in the next few days. This was a learning experiment, and I'm not sure how I'm going to release the game or where and in what state, but I feel confident enough with C# and Unity now to begin working on The Dream Project. Because, as the cliché goes, I'm not getting any younger.
