A step too far

The Withings app gave my friends and I a neat little way to make our daily steps competitive. It just told us who had the most each day and the most each week. Simple.

The data was displayed in a table, ranked from the highest number of steps to the lowest. Not complicated stuff, but it worked. Now, remember that I said was. Because they decided to change it and be cute about it. Now it's relative. The more steps the longer a gap between people.

What might have been a neat idea in testing is a complete disaster in progress. And why would I want to scroll anyway, unless I have enough friends that I have to?
