Considering how pricey the latter Mega Man X games get, rereleases of any kind are more than welcome. I was lucky to stumble across a cartridge for less than ¥1000, but it seems to have gone up recently and I personally cannot recall seeing it in box anywhere.
Tsuppari Ozumo (Shovin’ Sumos is what I’d imagine they would call it (or if you want to poorly grab a word from a Japanese-English Dictionary and use the wrong meaning: Struttin’ Sumos)) is a Tecmo sumo wrestling game which should have come out as Tecmo Super Sumo and clearly would have been as popular as that football sport.
I am sure I am going to get something wrong about Salamander. Because as far as I always understood it, Life Force and Salamander have a few different changes, and Life Force came out in Japan after Salamander. But that is all arcade talk, and the Famicom release of Salamander takes from both Life Force and Salamander, plus new content. Then there were changes in the North American NES release known as - surprise - Life Force. Whew. The problem with buying it on Virtual Console is not getting that sweet translucent green cartridge.
