Children are very proud of their creations. Be it a scribble on a scrap of paper, blocks shoved together without any regard for the rules that are commonly ascribed to them or even just a sticker placed in a certain way. The truth is we are always creating. Be it creating a clean dish, a memory of watching TV or a scribble on a piece of paper, we are creating.
“Daddy, come and look! I made this!” are words that I often hear these days.
Now here’s the thing. Part of the potty-training experience is seeing poo. This is not so much my issue rather the disturbance from the immense desire my son has that I see what it was that came out of his butt.
