Gutting

rainblocks has come a long way but this past weekend has been crazy. I have spent my working hours on it removing a lot of the code I had originally written and replacing it with better, more efficient code that lets it do a lot more than it was before. I rewrote huge chunks of code and am slightly nervous about bugs, but testing has shown so far so good.

It feels both good and bad when I realize way more efficient ways of doing something. Good because, hey! I figured it out. Bad because oh man, how did I ever originally think the first was was good at all? Well, that is learning after all.
